CEE and CIS Data Insight (Q1 2014)
CEE and CIS-focused private equity funds raised US$1.5 billion in Q1 2014, surpassing the fundraising total reached for all of 2013. Though CEE-dedicated funds, led by Mid Europa Fund IV with a EUR665 million (US$906 million) first close, accounted for 76% of the Q1 total, Russia-focused Elbrus Capital and Da Vinci Capital raised US$250 million and US$100 million, respectively, for their second funds.
