Janusz Heath

Janusz is a Managing Director and Head of Investment Management Emerging Markets at Capital Dynamics. He has some 30 years of private equity, corporate finance, and industry experience. Prior to taking on his current role, he was Head of Asset Management at Capital Dynamics for five years. Much of Janusz’s 30 years has been focussed on new markets. His sophisticated understanding of how new markets develop, and his extensive background in conducting cross-border transactions and building high-quality multi-cultural teams play pivotal roles in the firm’s investment activities in emerging markets. In addition to leading Capital Dynamics’ initiatives in these markets, Janusz also represents the firm at industry-specific conferences on financing and corporate governance in emerging markets and in roundtable discussions with media and his peers. Prior to joining us, Janusz was head of Central and Eastern European private equity at Allianz Specialized Investments (formerly Dresdner Kleinwort Capital), having previously been deputy chairman and managing director of PTP-Kleinwort Benson. He has also been chief executive of a UK public company and was a member of the Wilton Park Advisory Council (a FCO agency) for a number of years. Janusz is a non-executive director and trustee of HCT Group (a UK social enterprise), a trustee of Computer Aid International (a charity focussed on reducing poverty in emerging economies through practical ICT solutions) and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. He holds an MBA from the University of Aston.
