Hannes Manndorff heads the department of Equity at the Development Bank of Austria (OeEB), the Development Finance Institution of Austria. He is responsible for developing and overseeing a portfolio of private equity fund investments and direct investments. Before joining OeEB in 2017, Hannes worked for 17 years for Accion, a global financial inclusion impact investor. At Accion, he held various positions, including as Chief Regional Officer for East Asia and the Pacific, based in Singapore, Head of Global Business Development, CEO of a Microfinance Institution in India, and European Representative. Before joining Accion, Hannes worked for the Austrian Development Cooperation, based in Vienna and in Mozambique. Hannes holds a Ph.D. in Development Economics of the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and speaks five languages.
