Denis Jungerman

As Managing Director, Capital Solutions, Denis Jungerman plays a key role in deploying CDPQ’s international strategy in specialty finance. He also serves as the Managing Director of the Brazil office located in São Paulo, where he is based.

Mr. Jungerman joined CDPQ in May 2018 as Managing Director, Strategic Partnerships in the Growth Market team. He has more than 30 years of experience in investment banking and consulting. Throughout his career, he developed solid expertise in investment, private equity and business development in diverse sectors such as infrastructure, health care services and financial services.

For almost six years, he was a Partner and a Senior Advisor at TPG Capital, where he oversaw all investment activities in Brazil and led the opening of the company’s office in São Paulo. Prior to that, he was a Director and then a Managing Director at Credit Suisse Brazil Investment Banking Group for seven years. He previously held various leadership positions within companies such as GP Investments, J.P. Morgan and McKinsey & Company.

Mr. Jungerman is a graduate of Universidade de São Paulo in Industrial Engineering and holds an MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, which he attended on a Fulbright Scholarship.
