Global growth markets investor The Abraaj Group has entered into an agreement to sell its 50 percent stake in Turkey-based health insurance provider Acıbadem Sağlık ve Hayat Sigorta (Acıbadem Sigorta) to Khazanah Nasional Berhad, the Government of Malaysia's strategic investment fund. Khazanah will acquire a combined 90 percent stake from both The Abraaj Group and Turkey’s Aydınlar family for a reported US$252 million. The transaction will be completed following regulatory approvals in Turkey and Malaysia. The Abraaj Group first invested in the company in 2007.
