U.S.-based venture capital firm Norwest Venture Partners (NVP) has invested US$8 million in Trendsutra Platform Services, the Indian company that owns and operates online retail website Pepperfry.com. Trendsutra intends to use the funding to increase the number of offerings on its website and to open more fulfillment centers, where orders are processed and filled. NVP previously invested US$5 million in the company in December 2011.
