Global private markets investment manager Partners Group has acquired a 30 percent stake in Turkey-based natural gas distributor Enerya. The stake was acquired from Enerya's parent company, Turkey-based infrastructure conglomerate STFA Group, which continues to hold the remaining equity. Enerya owns and operates nine natural gas distribution companies in different regions in Western and Central Turkey, each with exclusive 30-year concession rights in their respective region. Following the transaction, the company intends to expand geographically. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
