Southeast Asia-focused venture capital fund manager Openspace Ventures and SEEDS Capital, the early-stage investment arm of Enterprise Singapore, have led a Series A funding round for Singapore-based sustainable animal feed producer Nutrition Technologies. The company, which uses a combination of bacteria and black soldier fly larvae to extract nutrients from agricultural by-products, plans to utilize the new capital to establish an insect protein production facility. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
