Private equity firm Nordic Capital has signed an agreement to acquire Czech Republic-based industrial maintenance outsourcing services provider ABB Full Service from Switzerland-based power and automation technology company ABB Group. The transaction will be structured through Nordic Capital Fund VIII. ABB Full Service operates in 30 countries around the world and employs more than 2,500 people. As part of the acquisition, the head office of ABB Full Service is intended to move to Sweden. Financial details of the transaction, which is expected to close in Q4 2014, were not disclosed.
