Horizon Capital, a private equity fund manager that focuses on investments in mid-cap companies in the CEE and CIS region, has fully exited Ukraine-based retail banking platform Platinum Bank to a group of international investment funds and financial investors. The transaction was structured through Emerging Europe Growth Fund. Horizon Capital exited Platinum Bank, which the firm founded as a greenfield bank in 2005, with a reported 3.2x cash-on-cash return. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
