Singapore-based alternative investment manager Dymon Asia Capital has reached a first close for Southeast Asia-focused Dymon Asia Ventures I with US$20 million in capital commitments. Investors in the fund include Thailand-based Siam Commercial Bank, which invested through corporate venture capital arm Digital Ventures. The fund will focus on seed and early-stage investments in technology companies in the financial services sector.
