Myanmar-focused private equity fund manager Delta Capital Myanmar has reached a final close for Myanmar Opportunities II with about US$70 million in capital commitments. The fund, which launched in 2016 with a US$100 million target, reached a first close in November of that year with US$30 million in capital commitments. Investors in the fund include family offices from Europe and Asia, global institutions, multinational corporations and three European development finance institutions. Approximately 30 percent of the corpus has already been deployed, and the fund plans to seek follow-on commitments after a significant portion of the fund has been invested.
