Brazilian technology-focused fund manager Confrapar has led an investment in Brazil-based aerospace company ALTAVE through the Aerotec Fund. Latin America-focused alternative asset manager Bozano Investimentos and Brazil-focused venture capital firm Triaxis Capital also participated in the funding round through their joint early-stage venture capital fund Criatec II. ALTAVE, which manufactures and sells surveillance and telecommunication airships, plans to use the funding to open operations in the state of Minas Gerais and to expand internationally. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
