Middle East-focused alternative investment firm Amwal AlKhaleej has exited its investment in Al Rowad Private Education Group (Rowad), a private school operator in Saudi Arabia, through a trade sale to an undisclosed buyer. Amwal AlKhaleej originally invested in Rowad in 2008 through its Amwal II private equity fund and reportedly earned a cash-on-cash return of 1.8x from the exit.
