Global private equity firm Advent International has announced it will invest US$105 million of equity capital in India-based CARE Hospitals—a multi-specialty hospital chain—by acquiring shares from some of the company’s existing investors and injecting additional capital into the business. The capital will be used to help the business consolidate its position in the healthcare sector.
