AfDB’s Facility for Energy Inclusion Reaches USD160m First Close

The African Development Bank’s Facility for Energy Inclusion fund has reached a USD160m first close. The African Development Bank provided USD90m, the European Commission and the German Development Bank KfW each committed USD25m, while Norfund invested USD23m. The fund, targeting USD400m, aims to improve energy access across Africa through small-scale renewable energy and mini-grid projects. Read more
