CEE and CIS-focused mid-market private equity firm Abris Capital Partners has agreed to invest in the Pehart group of companies, a producer of tissue paper in Romania and Southeastern Europe. As part of the transaction, development finance institution European Bank for Reconstruction and Development will entirely exit its stake in Pehart Tec, one of the Pehart group companies. Following Abris’s investment, Pehart will open a fourth production facility by the end of 2015. The transaction is pending clearance from Romanian anti-monopoly authorities.
