NBK Capital Acquires 50 Percent of Bavet (CEE and CIS)
Investment management company NBK Capital, an affiliate of the National Bank of Kuwait (NBK), has announced the acquisition of a 50 percent stake in Turkish animal pharmaceuticals distributor Bavet. Creador Invests US$28 Million in Indonesia’s MNC Skyvision (Asia)
South and Southeast Asia-focused private equity firm Creador Capital has invested US$28 million in Indonesian pay TV operator MNC Skyvision’s IPO. Aureos Invests US$10 Million in Mexican Clinical Research Organization (Latin America)
Small- and mid-cap-focused private equity fund manager Aureos Capital has invested US$10 million in Investigación Farmacológica y Biofarmacéutica (IFaB), a Mexico-based provider of outsourced research and development services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, via the Aureos Latin America Fund (ALAF). Coller Capital Closes Sixth Global Private Equity Secondaries Fund at US$5.5 Billion (Global)
Global private equity secondaries firm Coller Capital has announced the closing of Coller International Partners VI at US$5.5 billion, ahead of its US$5 billion target. The fund, like its predecessors, will acquire private equity portfolios from existing investors, with transaction sizes ranging from US$1 million to over US$1 billion. Poland-based financial services group IDMSA Brokerage House has sold a 45 percent stake in Polski Bank Przedsiębiorczości (PBP Bank) to Eastern Europe-focused private equity firm Abris Capital Partners for PLN95 million (approximately US$28 million).
