Central & Eastern Europe-focused private equity firm Enterprise Investors has agreed to sell its 100 percent stake in Romania-based supermarket chain Profi Rom Food to private equity firm Mid Europa Partners for EUR533 million (approximately US$566 million). Emerging markets-focused specialist investor LeapFrog Investments has acquired a majority stake in Kenya-based pharmaceutical retailer Goodlife Pharmacy for US$22 million. As part of the acquisition, East Africa-focused private equity firm Catalyst Principal Partners has fully exited its stake in the company.
