International Finance Corporation has agreed to invest up to USD128.5m in African businesses, including a USD100m senior loan to Nigeria’s Zenith Bank; a USD11m senior loan to Tunisia’s date processor VACPA; a USD7.5m investment in Mozambique’s agribusiness Westfalia Fruto Mozambique; and a USD10m investment in Egypt’s electricity meter manufacturer Globaltronics.
