KKR and Stonepeak To Acquire Philippines’ Globe Telecom Towers for Combined ~USD1.3b
Frontier Towers, the KKR-backed subsidiary of Pinnacle Tower, agreed to acquire 3,539 telecom towers for PHP45b (~USD809m) from Philippines-based telecom Globe. Stonepeak has also separately agreed to acquire 2,180 telecom towers and related passive infrastructure from Globe for PHP26.2b (~USD471m) through Miescor Infrastructure Development Corporation, a joint venture between Meralco Industrial Engineering Services and Stonepeak.
