Global private equity firm Advent International has agreed to acquire Mexico-based agrochemical manufacturer VIAKEM. Founded in 1938, VIAKEM manufactures crop protection chemicals for global agrochemical companies. Financial details of the transaction, which is expected to close in the third quarter of 2016, were not disclosed.
