Global private equity firm Advent International and Brazil-focused private equity firm Alothon Group have signed a definitive agreement to sell Brazil-based industrial laundry company Atmosfera to Elis, a French linen rental and laundry services company. Atmosfera processes 95,000 tons of linen annually from eight plants. The acquisition will be funded by a combination of debt and equity financing. Financial details of the transaction, which is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2014, were not disclosed.
