Indian private equity firm ChrysCapital has acquired a stake in Indian non-banking financial company Magma Fincorp through a series of share purchases on both the Bombay Stock Exchange and National Stock Exchange of India. While financial details of the transactions were not disclosed, ChrysCapital reportedly purchased a 7-8 percent stake in the company for a total transaction value of INR1.2 billion-INR1.5 billion (approximately US$22.2 million-US$27.8 million).
