Global investment firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (KKR) has agreed to acquire a controlling stake in Indian tire manufacturer Alliance Tire Group (ATG) from global private equity firm Warburg Pincus. ATG specializes in the manufacture and development of off-road tires for the construction, forestry and agricultural industries, with manufacturing facilities in India and Israel. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
