Singapore-based private equity firms UOB Venture Management (UVM) and Venstar Capital, along with an undisclosed individual investor, have agreed to invest US$22.5 million in Go Marine Malaysia, a subsidiary of Singapore-based shipbuilding and chartering company Otto Marine. UVM’s Asean China Investment Fund II and UVM 2 Venture Investments, and Venstar’s Venstar Investments II and Venstar Investments III will be allotted preference shares in Go Marine Malaysia.
