Lithuania-focused growth capital firm LitCapital has signed an agreement to invest up to EUR3 million (approximately US$3.9 million) in Lithuanian optical technology company Altechna for a minority stake. Altechna manufactures and supplies products in the fields of general optics, optoelectronics and laser components, and the investment is intended to finance the purchase of additional technological equipment and increase in-house R&D capacity.
