East Capital, a Swedish asset management firm focused on Eastern Europe and China, has sold its 8.8 percent stake in Latvian IT products wholesaler ELKO Grupa to the company’s other shareholders. East Capital first invested in the company in 2005 and provided debt financing in 2008 and 2009. The divested shares came from three East Capital funds: East Capital Bering New Europe Fund, East Capital Bering Russia Fund and East Capital Bering Ukraine Fund.
