U.S.-based private equity firm Blue Equity has sold The Antilles Group, the licensed user of Shell brands in Jamaica, to the Rubis Group, a French downstream petroleum and chemicals company. The Antilles Group operates 50 Shell service stations in Jamaica with a customer base in the commercial and industrial sectors. The acquisition will allow the Rubis Group to increase its presence in the Caribbean.
