Actis to Acquire InterGen’s Mexico Energy Assets for US$1.26 Billion (Latin America)

Growth markets investor Actis has agreed to acquire the Mexico assets of global energy infrastructure developer and operator InterGen for an enterprise value of US$1.26 billion. The assets include six combined-cycle gas turbine projects and a wind power project with a combined capacity of 2,355 megawatts, as well as three gas compression stations and a 65-kilometer gas pipeline. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to close in the second quarter of 2018.
