Mexico-focused impact investment firm Promotora Social Mexico, along with Latin America-focused accelerator and seed fund NXTP Labs and undisclosed family offices and angel investors, has invested in Chile-based education technology company Lab4U. The company, which develops mobile applications that utilize tablet and mobile phone sensors to create science experiments, plans to use the funds to expand operations to Mexico. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
